Iulia Nenova is a graduate of the State Music Academy “Pancho Vladigerov” Sofia, Bulgaria. She is a student of the famous bulgarian professors Tamara Iankova and Galunka Belcheva. Her chamber music professor is Konstantin Kougiisky. She starts indulging in chamber music at an early age, and this determines her future artistic realization expressed in many concerts as a member of the piano duet Elena Peeva – Iulia Nenova. She performs recitals as well as solo concerts with different orchestras under the batton of some great bulgarian conductors like Vasil Stefanov, Jordan Dafov etc. in the biggest cities in Bulgaria. The duet has repeatedly been on tour in the International Festival “Autumn Correspondances” in Baden-Baden in Germany . The duet had many concerts in Germany, Luxembourg, the Czech Republic. At The Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts, Brno, Czech Republic they had several master classes. The performers have a CD, which is recorded in Germany. It contains the compositions for 4 hands of the great german pianist Heinrich Neugeboren. They are the first performers of these compositions. The duet has a big repertoire – the most important works of world literature for that band by Bach, Handel, Telemann, Krebs, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Brahms, Saint-Saens, Mussorgsky, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Ravel, Stravinsky, Hindemith, Bartok, Prokofiev, Shostakovich etc.. She had many concerts together with lots of singers and instrumentalists. Her concerts have been recorded many times by the National Radio and TV, as well as the local media. But her main field of activity is the piano pedagogics. She teaches piano at the National School of Music and Performing Arts “Pancho Vladigerov” in Burgas, Bulgaria, and has been the principal there for 18 years. Her students have won over 200 prizes at national and international competitions in Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, England, Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, Japan, Serbia, Greece and others. Iulia Nenova is often invited as a member of the juries and has honorary diplomas of major national and international competitions (“Karl Filtch”, Romania; “Ama Calabria”, Italy; “Melos”, Roma, London, Paris, Geneva, Madrid, Tokyo; “Glory Int’l Competition”, London, etc.). She is awarded with many diplomas for high pedagogical achievements.
